Surah Al-Baqarah 2

O Descendants of Israel (Jacob)! Remember My favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant towards Me, I shall fulfil My covenant towards you; and fear Me alone. (40) And accept faith in what I have sent down (the Qur’an), which confirms what is with you (the Torah / Bible), and do not be the first to disbelieve in it – and do not exchange My verses for an abject – and fear Me alone. (41) And do not mix the truth with falsehood, nor purposely conceal the truth. (42) And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer). (43) What! You enjoin righteousness upon people while you forget (to practise it) yourselves, whereas you read the Book? Do you not have sense? (44) And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. (45) Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. (46) O Descendants of Israel! Remember the favour of Mine, which I bestowed upon you and gave you superiority over others of your time. (by sending the Noble Messengers to your nation) (47) And fear the Day (of Resurrection) when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will any intercession be accepted for the disbelievers, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation nor will they be helped. (48)
                     (And remember) When We rescued you from Firaun’s people, for they were inflicting you with a dreadful torment, slaying your sons and sparing your daughters; that was a tremendous trial from your Lord (or a great reward). (49) And when We split the sea for you thereby rescuing you, and drowned the Firaun's people in front of your eyes. (50) And when We made a commitment with Moosa (Moses) for forty nights – then behind him you started worshipping the calf, and you were unjust. (51) Then after that We pardoned you so that you may be grateful. (52) And when We gave Moosa the Book (Taurat / Torah) and the criterion to judge right from wrong, so that you may attain guidance. (53) And when Moosa said to his people, “O my people! You have wronged yourselves by taking the calf,* therefore turn in repentance to your Creator, therefore kill each other; this is better for you before your Creator”; He therefore accepted your repentance; indeed He only is the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. (* as your deity for worship) (54) And when you said “O Moosa! We will not believe you till we clearly see Allah”; so the thunder seized you while you were watching. (55) Then We brought you back to life after your death, so that you may be grateful. (56) And We made the clouds a canopy for you and sent down Manna and Salwa (birds) on you; “Eat of the pure things We have provided you”; they did not wrong Us in the least, but indeed they wronged themselves. (57)

                         And when We said, “Enter this town and eat freely from what is in it, and enter the gate whilst prostrating, and say, ‘May our sins be forgiven’ – We will forgive you your sins; and We will soon increase the reward for the righteous.” (58) But the unjust changed the word that had been ordered for another one, so We sent down a punishment on them from the skies, the recompense of their disobedience. (59) And when Moosa asked for water for his people, We said, “Strike this rock with your staff”; thereupon twelve springs gushed forth from it; each group recognised its drinking-place; “Eat and drink from what Allah has provided, and do not roam about the earth making turmoil in it.” (60) And when you said, “O Moosa! We shall never put up with only one kind of food, so call upon your Lord to produce for us what the earth grows – some herbs, cucumbers, corn, lentils and onions”; he said, “What! You wish to exchange the better for something inferior? Therefore settle down in Egypt or any city, where you will get what you demand”; and disgrace and misery were destined for them; and they returned towards Allah’s wrath; that was because they disbelieved in Allah’s signs and wrongfully martyred the Prophets; that was for their disobedience and transgression. (61)

                        Indeed the believers (the Muslims) and those among the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabeans who sincerely accept faith in Allah and the Last Day* and do good deeds – their reward is with their Lord; and there shall be no fear upon them nor shall they grieve. (* i.e. convert to Islam) (62) And when We made a covenant with you and raised the Mount above you; “Accept and hold fast to what We give you, and remember what is in it, so that you may attain piety.” (63) Then after that, you turned away; and were it not for the munificence of Allah and His mercy, you would be among the losers. (64) And you certainly know of those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of Sabth (Sabbath – Saturday) – We therefore said to them, “Become apes, despised!” (65) So We made this incident (of that town) a warning to the surrounding towns (others of their time) and to succeeding generations, and a lesson for the pious. (66) And (remember) when Moosa said to his people, “Allah commands you to sacrifice a cow”; they said, “Are you making fun of us?” He answered, “Allah forbid that I should be of the ignorant!” (67) They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may describe the cow”; said Moosa, “He says that it is a cow neither old nor very young but between the two conditions; so do what you are commanded.” (68) They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may reveal its colour to us”; answered Moosa, “Indeed He says it is a yellow cow, of bright colour, pleasing to the beholders.” (69)

                         They said, “Pray to your Lord that He may clearly describe the cow to us, we are really in a doubt as to which cow it is; and if Allah wills, we will attain guidance.” (70) Said Moosa, “He says, ‘She is a cow not made to work, neither ploughing the soil nor watering the fields; flawless and spotless’; they said, “You have now conveyed the proper fact”; so they sacrificed it, but seemed not to be sacrificing it (with sincerity). (71) And (remember) when you slew a man and were therefore accusing each other concerning it; and Allah wanted to expose what you were hiding. (72) We therefore said, “Strike the dead man with a part of the sacrificed cow”; this is how Allah will bring the dead to life, and shows you His signs so that you may understand! (73) Then after it, your hearts hardened – so they are like rocks, or even harder; for there are some rocks that rivers gush forth from them; and some that water flows from them when they split asunder; and there are rocks that fall down for the fear of Allah; and Allah is not unaware of your deeds. (74) So O Muslims, do you wish for the Jews to accept faith in you whereas a group of them used to listen to the Words of Allah, and then after having understood it, purposely changed it? (75) And when they meet the believers, they say, “We believe”; but when they are in isolation with one another they say, “You clarify to the believers from what Allah has disclosed to you, so that they may evidence it against you before your Lord? So have you no sense?” (76)

                               Do they not know that Allah knows all whatever they hide and whatever they disclose? (77) And among them are the unlearned that do not know anything of the Book except to recite something therefrom or parts of their own fabrications; they are in absolute illusion. (78) Therefore woe is to those who write the Book with their hands; and they then claim, “This is from Allah” in order to gain an abject (worldly) price for it; therefore woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn with it. (79) And they said, “The fire will not touch us except for a certain number of days”; say, “Have you taken a covenant from Allah – then Allah will certainly not break His covenant – or do you say something concerning Allah what you do not know?” (80) Yes, why not?* The one who earns evil and his sin surrounds him; he is from the people of fire (hell); they will remain in it forever. (You will remain in the fire forever). (81) And those who believe and do good deeds – they are the People of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. (82) And (remember) when We took a covenant from the Descendants of Israel that, “Do not worship anyone except Allah; and be good to parents, relatives, orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to people and keep the prayer established and pay the charity”; thereafter you retracted, except some of you; and you are those who turn away. ماسکو روس میں طالبان کی میٹنگ۔ ایک مختصر پس منظر

روس کی دین دُشمنی، الحاد پسندی، خُدا کے انکار کے سبب اور مُسلم ممالک کو تاراج کرنے کی وحشیانہ یلغار کو روکنے کے لیے مُسلم اُمت کے ”مجاہدین“ طالبان امریکہ کے ساتھ مل کر یہ جنگ لڑتے رہے یا یوں کہہ لیں کہ امریکہ کی یہ جنگ لڑتے رہے، پھر نائن الیون کا اندوہناک سانحہ ہوا اور اُسامہ بن لادن اینڈ کمپنی پر الزام عائد ہوا، افغانستان میں قائم طالبانی حکومت نے اُس اسامہ کو امریکہ کے حوالے سے انکار کر دیا تو امریکہ نے 2001ء ہی میں افغانستان پر یلغار کر دی۔

طالبان کے سابق حمایتی تب اُس امریکہ کے ساتھی بن گئے، پھر طالبان نے پاکستان میں بھی ایک طویل وحشیانہ قتل و غارت کا سلسلہ جاری رکھا اور افغانستان میں بھی امریکی افواج کے خلاف لڑتے رہے، کبھی کبھی اُنہی امریکیوں سے پیسے لے کر (پاکستانی مُسلمانوں خصوصاً سُنی اور شیعہ مکتب کی مساجد، درگاہوں اور امام بارگاہوں کو بموں سے اُڑایا اور عیسائیوں کے گرجا گھروں پر بھی اپنی بربریت کے پہاڑ توڑے، اِس جنگ کو امریکہ نے ”دہشت پر جنگ“ قرار دیا ہوا تھا۔ البتہ اس دہشت سے وہابیوں اور دیوبندیوں کی مسجدیں، مدارس اور تبلیغی مراکز محفوظ رہے، ہر حملے کے بعد اکثر لوگ اِن حملوں میں امریکی، بھارتی اور اسرائیلی ایجنسیوں کے ملوث ہونے کی افواہیں اُڑاتے لیکن کبھی تردید نہ کی گئی لیکن ایک بار صوبہ خیبر پختونخواہ میں ایک دیوبندی تبلیغی مرکز پر حملہ ہوا تو کسی نے امریکہ کا نام لیا، تو فوراً امریکی حکام کی جانب سے رد کیا گیا کہ ہمارا اس حملے سے کوئی تعلق نہ ہے۔) اُس کے بعد سے امریکہ کو مذہب دُشمن، مُنکرِ خُدا بلکہ ہمارا باس ”اللہ یا امریکہ؟“ جیسے القابات و نعروں سے نوازا گیا۔

کبھی ان طالبان نے پاکستان کے کہنے پر پاکستان کے دشمنوں کے حساب کو چُکتا کر دیا۔ کبھی پاکستان کے ایک سپہ سالار نے رشوت میں اپنی سروس کی تین سالہ توسیع کی بنیاد پر جو بھارتی کمپنیوں کو پاکستان کی سڑکیں پیپلز پارٹی کے کہنے پر روندنے کے لیے دے دیں تو انہوں نے زمینی راستوں سے افغانستان اور قبائلی علاقوں میں مقیم طالبان کو چارہ ڈالا اور پاکستان میں 2013ء اور 2014ء میں آگ لگی رہی (جس پر ایک فلم ”وآر“ بھی بنی)۔ پھر 2014ء کے 16 دسمبر کو پشاور میں آرمی پبلک سکول میں ایک خونچکاں سانحہ ہوا اور جونئیر سمیت سینئر فوجی افسران کے بچے بھی اُس کی بھینٹ چڑھ گئے۔ اُس کے بعد ”نیشنل ایکشن پلان“ تشکیل دیا گیا اور سابق آرمی چیف سمیت موجودہ نے بھی پہلے سے گرفتار دہشتگردوں کو ملٹری کورٹ سے سنائی جانے والی سزائے موت پر دستخط کیے اور مُجرم پھانسیوں پر چڑھا دئیے، بعد میں بعض ایسے دہشتگردوں کو بھی پھانسی دی گئی جو حالیہ واقعات میں ملوث تھے۔

سن 2015ء سے پاکستان میں قوم کی بڑے پیمانے پر انڈین ایجنسی ”RAW“ کے خلاف ذہن سازی کی گئی اور اُس کے بعد اخبارات کی اطلاعات کے مطابق افغانستان میں دھماکوں میں شدت آئی، خصوصاً حکومتی مقامات اور عہدے دار اس کا نشانہ بنتے رہے۔

ٹھہریئے! اس دوران 2010ء سے جنم لینے کے بعد، 2011ء اور 2012ء میں پروان چڑھنے کے 2013ء اور 2014ء میں عراق و کے شام کے بارڈر پر ایک شدید نوعیت کی فسادی تنظیم ”داعش“ نے قرنِ شیطان کی مثل سر اُٹھایا اور دُنیا دہشت کے نئے مفاہیم و معانی سے آشنا ہوئی اور القاعدہ کو بھول گئی، داعش کے قیام میں جہاں تک مالی امداد کا تعلق رہا ہے تو اُس میں سعودی عریبیہ کے کچھ مالدار لوگوں کا کردار تھا، اُنہیں سعودی حکومت نے اس لیے نہ روکا کہ ”چلو شام کی حکومت والی شیعے مریں گے، ہمیں کیا فرق پڑتا ہے“۔ اس تنظیم کو اسلحہ پہنچانے کے لیے امریکی کمپنیوں اور ایجنسیوں کا کردار تھا اِن کے خبیث جنگجوؤں کی تربیت کے لیے اسرائیل سے لے کر ”دُنیا بھر“ کی ایجنسیوں کا کردار شامل تھا (میرا یہ بھی ماننا ہے کہ نائن الیون کے حملے میں بھی ”دُنیا بھر“ کی ایجنسیوں کا حصہ شامل تھا، کیونکہ نیو ورلڈ آرڈر یونہی نہیں بنا کرتے)۔ بعد میں جب سعودی عریبیہ کو خدشہ ہوا کہ مبادا داعش، عراق کے علاقوں کو چیر کر سعودیہ کے گھر تک جا پہنچے تو اُس نے اپنے بارڈر کی سکیورٹی مزید مضبوط کی اور حج کے خطبے میں بھی اِن دہشگردوں کے خلاف بیان جاری کرایا (واضح رہے کہ، یہی سعودیہ روس کے خلاف لڑنے والے ”مجاہدین“ کو فنڈنگ دیتا رہا تھا، پھر نائن الیون کے بعد ان دیوبندی طالبان کی امداد بند کر دی اور لشکرِ طیبہ (جماعۃ الدعوۃ) کی امداد جاری رکھی، اب شاید ان کی بھی بند کر دی ہو)۔

اس ساری صورت حال میں ترکی کا کردار نہایت مجرمانہ رہا ہے، جسے کسی جنگ کا بظاہر سامنا نہ تھا، سوائے کُرد حریت پسندوں کے (یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنی قومیت کی بناء پر ایران، عراق، ترکی اور شام کے سنگھم پر ایک آزاد ریاست کے خواہاں ہیں)۔ لہٰذا ترکی کے کرپٹ اور بے غیرت سیاستدان رجب طیب اردگان نے داعش کی مدد جاری رکھی، وہ یوں کہ اُس کا بیٹا بلال طیب داعش کے دہشتگردوں سے تیل خریدتا رہا۔۔۔ سو ”کام“ چلتا رہا۔۔۔ ترکی نے داعش کو کُردوں کے لیے ”اللہ کا عذاب“ بنا دیا اور مزے سے بیٹھ کر اپنے ہمسائے میں تین مُلکوں میں جاری بے سر و پا جنگ کا تماشا دیکھتے رہے، اور انجوائے کرتے رہے۔

سن 2013ء میں رجب طیب اردگان کی کرپشن سامنے آئی تو وہ خود کو ایکسپوز کرنے والے میڈیا کے خلاف ہو گیا، اپنے پیر جیسے اُستاد بھائی ”فتح اللہ گئولن“ کے خلاف ہو گیا، پھر ایک بار آرمی میں مارشل لاء کی سوچ چلی تو طیب اردگان کو خبر ہوگئی، وہ نہ صرف بچ نکلا، بلکہ سرکاری خرچ پر اپنے لیے ایک مخصوص ”ذاتی سیکویرٹی ایجنیسی“ تشکیل دے ڈالی، جس کا کام فوج کی جاسوسی کرنا ہے تا کہ وہ مارشل لاء کا نہ سوچ پائے، لیکن شومئی قسمت جولائی 2016ء میں ترکی کی ائیر فورس نے مارشل لاء لگانے کی کوشش کی، اور آرمی چیف کو بھی یرغمال بنا لیا، اُس وقت رجب طیب اردگان مُلک سے باہر تھا، اور ایسے واقعات اتفاق نہیں ہوا کرتے۔ پھر طیب اردگان سوشل میڈیا پر ظاہر ہوا اور قوم سے مدد کی اپیل کی، اُسی ذاتی سیکیورٹی ایجنسی کے بدمعاش ”گُلو بٹ“ سڑکوں پر آ گئے اور ائیر فورس کی بغاوت کی کوشش ناکام بنا دی۔ دُنیا کے اکثر میڈیا گروپس نے کہا کہ ترکی کے عوام رجب طیب کے ساتھ محبت کرتے ہیں اس لیے، عوام اور پولیس نے ائیر فورس کو ”لوہے کے چنے“ چبا دئیے۔

اسی اثناء میں سعودی عریبیہ سے یمن میں ڈرون حملوں کا سلسلہ جاری رہا اور پھر پاکستان کی افواج کر ”ہائر“ کرنے کی باتیں چلتی رہیں، کہ یہ جا کر یمن میں سعودی عقیدے کی جنگ کرایہ پر لڑیں گی لیکن اخباری اطلاعات کے مطابق پاکستان کی پارلیمنٹ نے اس قسم کی کسی پیشکش کو ٹھکرا دیا لیکن ڈیڑھ ارب ڈالر کی رقم جانے کس مد میں وصول کر لی تھی، بہرحال اس کے بعد بھی یمن میں سعودیہ کی جانب سے بمباریوں کے سلسلے جاری رہے اور ہنوز جاری ہیں (ان برسوں میں سعودی عرب کے اندر بھی شیعہ کمیونٹی کو ختم کی بھر پور کوشش کی گئی، شیخ نمر باقر النمر کا قتل اس کی ایک مثال ہے)۔

داعش کے اُبھرنے کے بعد ایران و عراق میں مقیم قدیم مجوسی عقیدے کے لوگوں کو اخبارات نے ”یزیدی“ کے عنوان سے پہچان دی حالانکہ یہ عنوان غلط تھا جبکہ آج تک اخبارات میں استعمال ہورہا ہے۔ اس کے لیے ”ایزدی“ شاید درست عنوان تھا، اس قوم کے ساتھ بھی داعش کے جنگجوؤں کا رویہ ظالمانہ رہا۔

ایران کو فلسطین اور یمن میں موجود ”حزب اللہ“ سے کچھ لینا دینا تھا، اُسے یمن میں موجود شیعہ جماعتوں سے بھی ہمدردی تھی، امریکہ گِدھ کی ناک ایران کی طرف سے آنے والی کیمیکلی فضاؤں کو سونگھ کر فیصلہ نہیں کر پارہی تھی کہ شمالی کوریا کی طرح ایران کی مرگ قبل از موت ممکن ہے یا نہیں، کیونکہ حملہ اُسی ملک ہر کرتا ہے جس کا اُسے یقین آ جائے کہ اس کے پاس ”ایٹمی طاقت“ نہیں ہے۔ تو قارئین کرام! ایران نے اپنے ہم مسلک ”حزب اللہ“ کے جنگجوؤں اور یمن میں حوثی زیدی شیعوں کی امداد جاری رکھی۔

اپریل 2017ء میں امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے اپنے پہلے سرکاری دورے میں سعودی عرب میں اکثر مُسلم ممالک کے عمائدین کو ایک نئے ورلڈ آرڈر کا درس دیا۔ اس میں ایک عنصر قطر بھی ہے، قطر میں سے بھی کئی امیر لوگ داعش کے لوگوں کو فنڈز دیتے تھے، اب چونکہ سعودی عرب امریکہ سے ایک بلین ڈالرز سے بھی زائد مالیت کے اسلحے خریدنے کی ڈیلز کر چکا تھا لہٰذا اُس نے بھی قطر پر دباؤ ڈالا کہ ہمارے ”امیر المملکۃ السعودیہ جناب ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ“ کی بات مان لو! لیکن قطر اپنی بات پر مُصر رہا۔ سن 2017ء میں امریکہ نے انہیں خبردار کیا، اور اُن پر حملہ کرنا چاہا (یاد رکھیں داعش کے قیام و انصرام میں امریکا کا خود بھی، بلکہ سب سے بڑا کردار تھا) لیکن ایران جو کہ قطری وہابیوں کا نطریاتی مخالف تھا اُس نے عراق کو راستے دے دئیے، سعودیہ اور متحدہ عرب امارات سمیت مختلف وسط ایشیائی ممالک اُس کا بائیکاٹ کر چکے تھے، بلکہ ایک بار تو قطریوں کے حج ادا کرنے پر بھی پابندی لگ گئی تھی، لیکن پھر وہ کھل گئی اب وہ پاکستانیوں اور بھارتیوں کی طرح باقاعدہ ویزہ لے کر اور جہاز وغیرہ کا سفر کر کے جا سکتے ہیں اُن کا خرچ بھی تقریباً پاکستانیوں کے خرچ کے برابر ہوتا ہے، پہلے وہ بارڈر پار کرکے آسانی کے ساتھ کم خرچ بالا نشین کے مصداق سستا حج کر لیتے تھے۔

آج جبکہ ”فادر آف طالبان“ کی وفات ہو چکی تو ماسکو روس میں طالبان کی میٹنگ منعقد ہوئی ہے جس میں طالبان نے کابل حکومت کے ساتھ مذاکرات کرنے سے انکار کر دیا ہے۔

بی بی سی نے لکھا ہے، ”افغانستان کی امن کونسل کے ارکان نے جمعے کے روز ماسکو میں ایک کثیر ملکی کانفرنس کے دوران طالبان کے ایک وفد سے ملاقات کی ہے۔

یہ پہلا موقع ہے کہ طالبان نے کسی بین الاقوامی کانفرنس میں شرکت کی ہو جس سے افغانستان کے تنازعے کے سیاسی حل کی امید روشن ہو گئی ہے۔

روسی خبررساں ادارے آر آئی اے کے مطابق امن کونسل کے ترجمان احسان طاہری نے کہا: 'ہم نے طالبان کے ساتھ براہِ راست مذاکرات کے موضوع پر بات کی اور ان سے کہا کہ وہ اپنی مرضی سے جگہ اور وقت مقرر کریں۔'

یہ کانفرنس ایک ایسے وقت ہوئی ہے جب امریکہ کے خصوصی مندوب زلمے خلیل زاد بھی طالبان کے ساتھ قطر میں ایک الگ ملاقات کی تیاریاں کر رہے ہیں۔

روسی وزارتِ خارجہ نے کہا کہ 'ہم اس عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں کہ سیاسی حل کے سوا کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے، اور اس بات کی ضرورت ہے کہ افغانستان کے پڑوسی ملک اور علاقائی شراکت دار بھی فعال طریقے سے اس میں حصہ لیں۔'

مغربی ملک اور افغانستان کے صدر اشرف غنی کی حکومت روس میں ہونے والے اس اجلاس کو شک کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ اس عمل کی قیادت افغانستان کو کرنی چاہیے۔

طالبان کے پانچ رکنی وفد کے علاوہ اس اجلاس میں پاکستان، انڈیا، چین، امریکہ، قطر اور دوسرے ملکوں کے علاوہ کئی اہم افغان سیاسی شخصیات نے بھی شرکت کی جن میں سے بعض کے اشرف غنی کی حکومت سے اختلافات چل رہے ہیں۔ “

Surah Al-Saba verse no 28

And O dear Prophet, We have not sent you except with a Prophethood that covers the entire mankind, heralding glad tidings and warnings, but most people do not know. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – is the Prophet towards all mankind.) 

Surah Al-Baqarah verse no 286

 Allah does not burden anyone, except with something within its capacity; beneficial for it is the virtue it earned, and harmful for it is the evil it earned; “Our Lord! ماہِ رمضان مبارک

قرآن میں صرف ماہِ رمضان کا نام آیا ہے

قرآن حکیم نے رمضان المبارک کے علاوہ کسی مہینے کا نام نہیں لیا، یہ کتنا بڑا انعام ربّانی ہے کہ خالقِ کائنات نے ماہِ رمضان کا نام لے کر اس کی اہمیت کو خوب بڑھایا۔ اس سے اس مہینے کی عظمت بیّن ہوتی ہے۔قرآن کریم میں کسی اور عورت کا نام نہیں آیا لیکن حضرت مریم علیہا السلام کو یہ شرف حاصل ہے کہ ان کا نام قرآن مجید میں آیا ہے۔ اسی طرح قرآن حکیم میں کسی اور صحابی کا نام نہیں آیا مگر یہ شرف حضرت زید رضی اللہ عنہ کو حاصل ہے کہ ان کا نام قرآن میں سورہ احزاب میں آیا ہے۔ بارہ مہینوں میں سے کسی مہینے کا ذکر نام کے ساتھ قرآن شریف میں نہیں آیا لیکن رمضان المبارک کو یہ مقام حاصل ہے کہ اس کا نام قرآن مقدس میں آیا ہے۔رمضان المبارک میں ایک نیکی کا ثواب ستّر گنا بڑھ جاتا ہے۔
اس سے اندازہ لگایا جا سکتاہے کہ یہ مہینہ کتنا بابرکت ہے کہ اس کو نام لے کر قرآن پاک میں ذکر کیا گیا ہے۔ اس سے اس مہینے کی عظمت کا پتہ چلتا ہے۔ لہٰذا تمام مسلمانوں کو چاہئے یوں تو وہ تمام مہینوں میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر کریں، نمازیں پڑھیں، تلاوت کریں، نیز نیک کام بڑھ چڑھ کر کریں لیکن اس ماہ اقدس رمضان المبارک میں تو خوب اللہ تعالیٰ کی یاد کریں۔ نمازوں کی پابندی کریں تاکہ دوسرے تمام مہینوں میں بھی نماز کی پابندی عادت بن جائے۔ نیکی کو دائمی کریں تاکہ سارا سال نیکی کرنا عادت بن جائے یقیناًاس مہینے کی بڑی برکات ہیں۔ اس میں اگر کوئی بندۂ مؤمن ایک نیکی کرتا ہے تو اس کو ستّر نیکیوں کا ثواب دیا جاتا ہے اگر کوئی بندہ اس ماہ میں ایک روپیہ خیرات کرتا ہے تو اس کو ستّر روپے خیرات کرنے کے برابر ثواب دیا جاتا ہے۔
 

 ایک نفل کا ثواب ایک فرض کے برابر کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ رحمت کے دروازے کھول دیئے جاتے ہیں، جنّت کے دروازے کھول دیئے جاتے ہیں، دوزخ کے دروازے بند کر دیئے جاتے ہیں، ان شاء اللہ تفصیلی احادیث مبارکہ بھی ذکر کروں گا۔ اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ ماہِ صیام بڑا ہی بابرکت مہینہ ہے، اس کی جس قدر ہو سکے تعظیم کرنی چاہئے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ توفیق عمل عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

The month of Ramadan in which was sent down the Qur’an – the guidance for mankind, the direction and the clear criteria (to judge between right and wrong); so whoever among you witnesses this month, must fast for the (whole) month; and whoever is sick or on a journey, may fast the same number in other days; Allah desires ease for you and does not desire hardship for you – so that you complete the count (of fasts), and glorify Allah’s greatness for having guided you, and so that you may be grateful. Dr Muhammad Haroon 1944-1998 (born: Alfred Neville May) ^[5] was a PhD Scholar of University of Cambridge. He got his PhD degree in 1970.^[6] The topic of his PhD Thesis was "The franchise in thirteenth century England, with special reference to the estates of the bishopric of Winchester".^[7] He converted to Islam from Christianity in 1988 when he was 44 years old. ^[8]

Short History of Islam till Martyrdom (assassination) of Hadhrat Imam Husain

        “Our Prophet, Muhammad ('alaihi 's-salâm), was born in Mekka on the Monday morning of Rabî' al-awwal 12, which coincided with April 20, 571 (mîlâdî). He passed away in Medina in the 11th year of the Hegira (m. 632). At the age 40, the angel called Jabrâ'il ('alaihi 's-salâm) revealed to him his prophethood.He emigrated (hijra) from Mekka to Medina in 622; his arrival at the Kubâ village near Medina on Monday, September 20, marks the beginning of the Muslims' Hijrî Shamsî (solar) calendar, while Muharram 1 of the same year marks the beginning of the Qamarî (lunar) calendar. The Persian Shamsî year begins six months before this, that is, on the twentieth of March, which is the day of the Magian festival.”

Note: Western Calendar (January-December) is called Gregorian and Miladi Calendar. It has been started from the Era of Prophet Hadhrat Eesa (Jesus) peace be upon him. It is also called Christian calendar and Eeswi calendar. This calendar is used in both ways Solar and Lunar. Christians observe Christmas-Birthday of Hadhrat Eesa (Jesus) peace be upon him according to solar cycle but they celebrate Easter according to lunar cycle. Islamic Calendar has been started from the time of the Migration (Hijrat) of Holy Prophet Muhammad peace and blessing be upon him according to Gregorian calendar it was year of 622, Islamic lunar calendar is eleven days shorter than the Gregorian calendar used in the Western world. In the international Gregorian calendar, the dates vary from year to year, drifting approximately 11 days earlier each year.

After the death of Holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him (Muslims believe that Prophets are alive in their graves) on 12th of Rabi-al-awwal 11 Hijri according to June 632, First Khalifa (King) of Islam and Muslims was Hadhrat Abu Baker siddeeq Radi-yallahu-anhu (Father-in-Law of Holy Prophet), he was elected by the Companions of Holy Prophet. Hadhrat Abu Baker Siddeeq passed away on 22nd Jamadi-al-Sani in 13 Hijri/23rd of August 634. He made his Successor Hadhrat Omar (Father-in-Law of Holy Prophet) before his death. Total age of the Hadhrat Abu Baker was 63 years.

Second Khalifa Hadhrat Omar Radi-yallahu-anhu ruled there 10 years till Zil-Hajj 23 Hijri. He was injured by a killer. He announced a committee to elect next Khalifa. Hadhrat Omar Martyred in age of 63 years on 1st of Muharram 24 Hijri/ 11th of November, 644.

Third Khalifa Hadhrat Usman عُثْمَان was elected by that Committee. He was Son-in-Law of Holy Prophet, two of the Daughters of Prophet were married with him one after another, Firstly Hadhrat Ruqayya died, and then he was married with Hadhrat Umm-e-Kalsoom. Hadhrat Usman عُثْمَان got married with Hadhrat Ruqqaya in city of Mecca. She died after migration to Medina in 2nd Hijri. Hadhrat Umme-Kalsoom died in 9th Hijri. Hadhrat Usman increased and developed Masjid-al-Haraam (situated in Mecca) in 26th Hijri and Masjid-al-Nabawi (Situated in Medina) in 29th of Hijri. Hadhrat Usman عُثْمَان was assassinated on 18th Zil-Hajj in 35 Hijri/ 20th of June 656.

Note: Holy Prophet Hadhrat  حَضْرَتْ Muhammad had 4 daughters and 3 sons, three of the sons died in their childhood.

Note: A Muslim man is allowed to marry four women at a time, but there should not be two sisters as his wives at a time, he can adopt second after death of first.

And forth Khalifa was Hadhrat Ali (Cousin and Son-in-Law of Holy Prophet). YoungestDaughter of Holy Prophet Hadhrat Fatima فَاطِمَہْ حَضْرَتْ  was married with Hadhrat Ali in 2nd Hijri. They had two Sons, Hadhrat Hasn (حَسْن) and Hadhrat (حُسَیْن) Husain. Imam Hasn was born in 3rd Hijri and Imam Husayn was born in 4th Hijri. Hadhrat Ali Ruled from 35 to 40 Hijri and he was assassinated on the day of 21st of Ramadan.

            After the assassination of Hadhrat حَضْرَتْ Ali, people of Koofa accepted Hadhrat Imam Hasn as Khalifa and after 6 months Hadhrat Imam Hassan handed over whole kingdom to Hadhrat حَضْرَتْ Mua’wia in Rabi-al-awwal 41st Hijri on a conditioned agreement.

Hadhrat Mua’wia also was one of the companions of Holy Prophet. He ruled 20 years from 40 to 60 Hijri as a king. He had been Governor of Syria before being a king since 20 years (Syria was a province/state of Great Islamic Kingdom Khilaafat خِلَافَتْ at that time).  He died in month of Rajab in 60 Hijri.

            After the death of Hadhrat Mua’wia his son Yazid was appointed as a king according to his will. Yazid was a bad person and a bad sinner. Yazid was born in Era of Hadhrat Usman in 25th of Hijri. Name of his mother was Maisoon.

 Hadhrat Husain refused to accept him (Yazid) as Muslim King. Hadhrat Husain received a lot of Letters from people of the city of Koofa (in Iraq). People of Koofa wanted to see him as a Muslim Khalifa. Hadhrat Imam Husain travelled from Medina to Mecca on 4th Sha’abaan in 60th of Hijri.

Hadhrat Nouman نُعْمَان bin Bashir, one of the companions of Holy Prophet was Governor of Koofa at that time. Hadhrat Imam Husain sent Hadhrat Muslim bin Aqeel (his two young sons Muhammad and Ibrahim were with him) to know the current situation of Koofa. Hadhrat Muslim bin Aqeel wrote a letter to Hadhrat Imam Husain that people of Koofa loved him so much and were ready to accept him as a Khalifa of Muslims.

Meanwhile Governor of Koofa was changed by Yazid. Name of new Governor was Abdullah bin Ziyaad. He announced there in Koofa to favor Yazid. He declared that if someone would favor Hadhrat Imam Husain he would be punished. Hadhrat Muslim bin Aqeel and his sons were killed (martyred) there in Koofa by new Governor Ibne-Ziyad. On the same day Hadhrat Imam Husain left for Koofa. People who met Hadhrat Imam Husain in his way they told him that people of Koofa Loved to him but they were standing with Banu Umayyad (Yazid) if any mishap. They suggested him to do not travel to Koofa.

On 10th of Muharram 61 Hijri on the land of Iraq (Karbala desert), army of Yazid Killed Hadhrat Husain including many of his family members and his friends there. It was first month Muharram of 61 Hijri year which coincided with 680 AD. Muslims has been cursing on Yazid and they do so still from that incident. Muslims Loved and they love still the name of Hadhrat Husain (Grand-son of Holy Prophet).
