Celebrating Silver Jubilee-Answering The Questions at Data Darbar Lahore

Grand Mufti of Pakistan Muhammad Arshad al-Qadri has been answering the questions of public in the light of Quran and Hadith since 19th of July 1990 at The Masjid of Data Darbar (Ali Hujvery) Lahore. The question-and-answer sessions are held several times a week there.

Only written questions were counted in 2010 AD. These were 96,000 questions in counting, which were answered by him during the period of 20 years. However, verbal questions are countless. Now, more questions has been added during these five years till 2015. In this field, he has an Individual status for such a tough duty (4 times a week) for last 25 years in Pakistan. His Fatawa (Collection of Answers-Verdicts) is being prepared; it will be in hands soon.

Rana Arshad Qadri

For a long time in academic and religious circles he had been called "Rana Arshad", because of his family background. Mufti Arshad was born on 15th or 16th of February, 1958 in house of 'Rana Muhammad Tufail. He had been writing word 'Rana' with his name, but later on he gave it up. One of his Teachers Allama Muhammad Abdul Hakeem Sharaf Qadri suggested him to write his name as "Arshad al-Qadri" or "Arshad-ul-Qadri". The majority of the public still knows him as Allama Rana Arshad Qadri Rizvi.

Childhood and Education

His childhood spent in the village of Kot Nainan, Shakargarh,Punjab, Pakistan. His primary education started there. During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, his family moved to Lahore city. He started learning his Islamic education from Jamia Rasoolia Sherazia Bilal Gunj Lahore. Timings of Jamia, for those students who also were studying at modern schools at the same time, were different. Those students used to study here early in morning after Fajar prayer. Muhammad Arshad was one of these boys. Their Teacher Allama Muhammad Ali Naqshbandi (Rahmatullahi Ta'ala Alayh) used to teach them during Morning walk, while going to The Ravi River and coming back from there. After this morning session, Arshad used to go to Govt Islamia High School Khazana Gate Lahore to learn his Modern education, he passed his matric there. He passed his intermediate from M.A.O College Lahore, and graduation from G.C.U Lahore with Gold Medal. He completed his masters degree in Islamic Studies from The University of Punjab Lahore. Later on, he earned degrees of M.A Arabic and M.A history from the same University. For traditional Islamic studies he properly attempted and succeeded in the exams of Tanzeem Ul Madaris Ahle Sunnat Pakistan with a good performance.

His sheikh is Abu Muhammad, Muhammad Abdul Rasheed Qadri from city of Samundri near Faisalabad. Arshad ul Qadri was given Ijazah and Khilafah in all four orders of Sufism. Chain of his sheikh is linked to Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadri.

Ideology

Mufti Arshad ul Qadri is influenced by the work of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadri, Doctor Muhammad Iqbal and Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani. He held a conference about Imam Ahmad Raza Khan Qadri's teaching On January 30, 2011 at Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore, Rachna Town. According to his views, Reverence of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is an obligation for every Muslim. On 14th of October 2012 he held a conference to reply the blasphemy movie "Innocence of Muslims" in Jamia Islamia Rizvia.

Books

Mufti Mohammad Arshad Qadri is the author of many books. Two dozen of them have been published. He is writing "Fuyoodh-un-Nabi" an Urdu Interpretation of Hadith Book of 'Tirmidhi'. Two volumes of this work were published in 2014. Hundreds of his books and pamphlets are waiting for publishing.

Organization

Mufti Arshad al Qadri has founded a movement called "Taleem o Tarbiyat Islami Pakistan". Various gatherings, conferences and seminars are held by this organization. On 28th of April 2013, Islamic Learning Session was organized by this movement at Aiwan e Iqbal Lahore. Movement also takes part in various social welfare activities. Manifesto of this movement is to create unity, service and stability among Muslims. Its Main Office is known as Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore. It is located in Rachna Town, Ferozwala, Shahdara. جامعہ اسلامیہ رضویہ لاہور میں شب قدر1436 ہجری

کل رمضان المبارک 1436ھ کی ستائیسویں رات تھی، مسلمان اسے لیلۃالقدر مانتے ہیں۔

میں اور تحسین چستی شب قدر اور دستارِ بندی کی اس تقریب میں رات کے ساڑھے بارہ بجے رچنا ٹاؤن میں واقع جامعہ اسلامیہ رضویہ لاہور پہنچے۔ اس وقت 15 جولائی  ٢٠١٥ کی تاریخ شروع ہوچکی تھی۔ مسجد نصرتِ کا ہال لوگوں سے کھچا کھچ بھرا ہوا تھا۔ ہم بھی وضو کرکے اس میں داخل ہوئے۔ سید انیس شاہ قادری اس وقت جامعہ اسلامیہ رضویہ لاہور کی مسجد میں نعت پڑھ رہے تھے۔ غلام یاسین قادری اسٹیج سیکرٹری کے فرائض نبھا رہے تھے۔

 انہوں نے حضور پاک صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی شان میں ہدیہ نعت پیش کرنے کے لئے جناب غلام سرور کو دعوت دی۔ اسی دوران مفتی اعظم پاکستان محمد ارشد القادری مسجد میں داخل ہوئے۔ غلام سرور صاحب نے نعت پڑھی، پھر عاکف قادری نے قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کے لئے وقار نورانی کی دعوت دی کیونکہ تقسیم اسناد کی تقریب شروع ہونے والی تھی۔ قاری وقار نورانی نے سورۃ مریم، سورۃ قیامہ، سورۃ الضحیٰ اور سورۃ قدر میں سے تلاوت کی۔

قرآن مجید کی تلاوت کے بعد، جناب عاکف قادری نے ایک نعت پڑھی۔ایک بج کر پانچ منٹ پر  غلام یاسین قادری نے  خطاب کے لئے مفتی ارشد القادری صاحب کو بلایا۔ اپنے خطاب سے قبل انہوں نے حدیث کی کتاب جامع ترمذی پر اپنی لکھی گئی اردو شرح 'فیوض النبی' کا تعارف پیش کیا۔مفتی ارشد القادری نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے امت مسلمہ کے سلگتے ہوئے مسائل پر، اور قرآن و حدیث کے علوم بارے میں 400 سے زیادہ کتابیں لکھی ہیں۔

اپنی تقریر میں، مفتی صاحب نے مسلم امت کو وحدت کی طرف توجہ دلائی، ان کا منشور وحدت، خدمت اور استحکام ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میری چالیس سالہ تبلیغی زندگی کاریکارڈ ہے کہ میری کسی تقریر، کیسٹ یا کتاب وغیرہ سے کہیں کوئی فرقہ ورانہ جھگڑا نہیں ہوا۔ میں نے کبھی فرقہ واریت کو فروغ دینے کے لئے کام نہیں کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر دشمن آپ پر حملہ کرتا ہے تو وہ آپ کا فرقہ پوچھ کر آپ کی جان بخشی نہیں کردے گا بلکہ وہ تو آپ کو مار دے گا۔ فرقہ بازی اور تقسیم در تقسیم سے گریز کریں، اللہ نے مجھے موقع دیا تو ان شاء اللہ میں اس امت کو وحدت کی لڑی میں پرو  دوں گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ میں اپنی 40 سالہ تبلیغی زندگی میں  کبھی اُجرت کا طلب گار نہیں ہوا ، میں نے  اندرونِ ملک یا بیرونِ ملک سے  کبھی کوئی 'امداد' نہیں لی۔ البتہ آپ ساتھیوں کے تعاون سے یہ مرکز جامعہ اسلامیہ رضویہ قائم کیا، اس کی تعمیرات کے لئے مزید ضرورت ہے۔ اللہ نے اس فقیر سے دیگر کاموں کے ساتھ ساتھ حدیث پاک پر تحقیق کام بھی لے لیا ہے، ان شاء اللہ فتاویٰ ارشدیہ کی دوجلدیں جلد ہی منظر عام پر آجائیں گی۔ اور 'فیوض النبی' کی تیسری جلد پر بھی کام جاری ہے۔ آپ میرا علمی کام تعلیم یافتہ طبقے کے سامنے رکھیں، ایک وقت کے بعد تو یہ کام سب کے سامنے آ ہی جائے گا ۔ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ امامِ اعظم ابوحنیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے سورۃ القدر میں سے حساب کرکے بتایا کہ اس میں لیلۃ القدر کا لفظ تین بار آیا ہے۔ اس کے اعداد نو ہیں، تین کو نو سے ضرب دی تو ستائیس ہوتا ہے، لہٰذا امام صاحب فرماتے ہیں کہ ستائیس رمضان المبارک کی رات ہی لیلۃ القدر ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ہم پیارے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے غلام ہیں،  اللہ عزوجل کو اپنے محبوب صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے غلام پسند ہیں اور اللہ اپنے محبوب کریم کے غلاموں کو جنت میں جگہ عطا فرمائے گا۔

مفتی ارشد القادری کے خطاب کے بعد،  سوا دو بجے، جامعہ اسلامیہ رضویہ لاہور میں حفظِ قرآن کے طلباء میں اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں اور آخر میں کچھ تحائف اساتذہ اور ادارے کے خادموں میں تقسیم کیے گئے۔ اس کے بعد، امام احمد رضا خان رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا سلام کھڑے ہوکر پڑھا گیا اور مفتی صاحب نے سب کے لئے دعا کی۔ پھر ہم وہاں سے سحری کا کھانا کھا کر تین بجے واپس روانہ ہولئے۔

Laylat ul Qadr 1436 at Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore

Last night was 27^th of Ramadan 1436 AH. It is considered ‘Laylat Al Qadr’ by Muslims.

Me and Tehseen Chishti went to Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore, situated in Rachna Town Ferozwala to attend Convocation Ceremony and Annual Program. After ablution we entered the Masjid Nusrat e Madina at 12:27 AM on 15 Jul 2015. It was full of worshipers.

Sayyed Anis Shah Qadri was reciting Naat in Mosque of Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore at that time. Ghulam Yasin Qadri was offering duties of stage secretary. He invited Ghulam Sarwar to recite Naat in the praise of Holy Prophet Muhammad. Meanwhile Mufti e Azam Pakistan Muhammad Arshad al Qadri entered the Mosque. Ghulam Sarwar recited Naat , then Akif Qadri invited Waqar Noorani to recite The Holy Quran. To start Convocation Ceremony. He recited from Surah Maryam, Surah Qiyamah, Surah al-Dhuha and Surah Qadr.

After Tilawah of Quran, Akif Qadri recited a Naat. At 1:05 AM,Ghulam Yasin Qadri invited Mufti Arshad ul Qadri for his speech. Before his address he introduced his works Especially an Urdu Interpretetion ('Fuyoodh.un.Nabi') of Hadith book Jami al-Tirmidhi. Mufti Arshad ul Qadri told that he has written more than 400 books about current issues of Muslim Ummah & Sciences of Quran and Hadith.

In his speech, Mufti invited the attention of Muslim Ummah towards unity. He said that his manifesto is unity, serve and stability. He said that during last 40 years of his services about religion, he never worked to promote sectarianism. “If some enemy will attack you, he will not ask about your sect, he will kill you simply” he added.

After speech of Mufti Arshad ul Qadri, certificates were distributed among students of Hifz e Quran in Jamia Islamia Rizvia Lahore at 2:14 AM. At the end a few gifts were distributed among Teachers and servants of institution. Then, Salam of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan was recited together by standing and Mufti prayed Dua for all. Then we ate Sehri food there and came back by 03:00 am.

ریحان نے مکمل قرآن مجید پڑھ لیا

ریحان نے مکمل قرآن مجید پڑھ لیا

اسے مکمل قرآن پڑھنے میں1 سال اور 11 ماہ کا عرصہ لگا

لاہور: جولائی 14، 2015، ماہِ رمضان المبارک کا چھبیسواں روزہ (شب قدر)

میرے ادارے 'ای لرننگ ہولی قرآن' کے طلباء میں سے ایک کا نام ریحان ہے۔ اس کی عمر 14 سال ہے۔ وہ پرتھ، مغربی آسٹریلیا سے تعلق رکھتا ہے۔اس نے 2 سن 2013 کو اپنے سبق کا  آغاز کیا۔ سب سے پہلے قاعدہ پڑھا۔ قاعدہ ایک ابتدائی کتاب ہے، جس سے یہ سیکھا جاتا ہے کہ عربی کو کیسے پڑھتے ہیں۔ اس میں عربی حروف تہجی، آوازیں، حرکات اور تجوید کے قواعد و ضوابط کے اسباق ہوتے ہیں۔

اس کے بعد ریحان نے پہلے قرآن کا تیسواں سپارہ (جز) پڑھا۔ پھر میں نے اسے پہلے پارے پر لگا دیا۔ اسے پڑھنے کے بعد دوبارہ آخری جانب چلے گئے وہاں انتیسواں، اٹھائیسواں، ستائیسواں، چھبیسواں، پچیسواں اور چوبیسواں سپارہ پڑھا۔ تب ہم نے تئیسواں پارہ سورۃ یٰسین شریف سے شروع کیا۔ 

بعد ازاں، ایک مختصر وقت کے بعد ہم نے سپاروں کی بجائے سورتوں کی ترتیب کو اپنا لیا۔ اور ہم پیچھے سے سورتوں کو پڑھتے رہے۔ حتیٰ کہ سورۃ الانعام جو کہ چھٹی سورۃ ہے وہاں تک پڑھ لیا۔ چونکہ قرآن پاک عربی زبان میں ہے اور دائیں سے بائیں مرتب کیا جاتا ہے جیسا کہ عربی کتابیں، اردو، فارسی اور کچھ دیگر مشرقی زبانوں کو دائیں سے بائیں سے لکھا جاتا ہے۔ لیکن ریحان سورتوں کو بائیں سے دائیں پڑھ رہا تھا یعنی دسویں سورۃ پڑھ کے بعد میں نویں، پھر آٹھویں، پھر ساتویں اور بالآخر چھٹی۔

چھٹی سورۃ  الانعام کے بعد میں نے اُسے ایک بار پھر دوسرے سپارے کی طرف منتقل کردیا۔ کیونکہ پہلا پارہ تو اُس نے پڑھا ہوا تھا۔ لہٰذا اس کے چند ماہ کے بعد آج ہمارے ہونہار طالبعلم نے آخری سبق پڑھ لیا جو کہ پانچویں سورۃ المائدہ کی آخری آیات تھی۔ آج کا سبق آیت نمبر 90 سے آیت نمبر 120 تک تھا۔ یہ سورۃ ساتویں پارے کے پہلے ربع کے بعد مکمل ہوتی ہے۔

اس نے مکمل قرآن مجید میرے پاس آن لائن پڑھا ہے۔ یہ میرا دوسرا شاگرد ہے جس نے مکمل قرآن پاک میرے پاس پڑھا۔ اس سے پہلے مازِن نے بھی مکمل قرآن مجھ ہی سے پڑھا تھا۔ یہ دونوں بچے 'ای لرننگ ہولی قرآن' سے منسلک ہیں۔ مازِن نے جولائی 2013ء میں مکمل کیا تھا اُس وقت اُس کی عمر ساڑھے چھ برس تھی۔ وہ ایک پاکستانی فیملی سے تعلق رکھتا ہے اس لئے وہ اردو میں بات کرتا ہے، میں بھی پاکستان سے ہوں اس لئے میری قومی زبان بھی اردو ہے۔ جبکہ ہمارے آج کے ہیرو ، ریحان صاحب  برمی خاندان سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں لہٰذا وہ انگریزی میں گفتگو کرتے ہیں۔ انگریزی بولنے والے طلباء میں سےاُسے یہ اعزاز حاصل ہے کہ وہ ہمارے ادارے میں قرآن پورا کرنے والا پہلا بچہ ہے۔ یہ میرے لئے اور میرے ادارے 'ای لرننگ ہولی قرآن ڈاٹ کام' کے لئے بھی ایک اعزاز ہے۔ میں نے ریحان کے والدین کو مبارکباد دی تھی۔ میں ایک بار پھر انہیں اور ان کے خاندان کو مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔

الحمدللہ ہم نے یہ برکت حاصل کرلی.

اسے مکمل قرآن پڑھنے میں1 سال اور 11 ماہ کا عرصہ لگا

لاہور: جولائی 14، 2015، ماہِ رمضان المبارک کا چھبیسواں روزہ (شب قدر)

میرے ادارے 'ای لرننگ ہولی قرآن' کے طلباء میں سے ایک کا نام ریحان ہے۔ اس کی عمر 14 سال ہے۔ وہ پرتھ، مغربی آسٹریلیا سے تعلق رکھتا ہے۔اس نے 2 سن 2013 کو اپنے سبق کا  آغاز کیا۔ سب سے پہلے قاعدہ پڑھا۔ قاعدہ ایک ابتدائی کتاب ہے، جس سے یہ سیکھا جاتا ہے کہ عربی کو کیسے پڑھتے ہیں۔ اس میں عربی حروف تہجی، آوازیں، حرکات اور تجوید کے قواعد و ضوابط کے اسباق ہوتے ہیں۔

اس کے بعد ریحان نے پہلے قرآن کا تیسواں سپارہ (جز) پڑھا۔ پھر میں نے اسے پہلے پارے پر لگا دیا۔ اسے پڑھنے کے بعد دوبارہ آخری جانب چلے گئے وہاں انتیسواں، اٹھائیسواں، ستائیسواں، چھبیسواں، پچیسواں اور چوبیسواں سپارہ پڑھا۔ تب ہم نے تئیسواں پارہ سورۃ یٰسین شریف سے شروع کیا۔ 

بعد ازاں، ایک مختصر وقت کے بعد ہم نے سپاروں کی بجائے سورتوں کی ترتیب کو اپنا لیا۔ اور ہم پیچھے سے سورتوں کو پڑھتے رہے۔ حتیٰ کہ سورۃ الانعام جو کہ چھٹی سورۃ ہے وہاں تک پڑھ لیا۔ چونکہ قرآن پاک عربی زبان میں ہے اور دائیں سے بائیں مرتب کیا جاتا ہے جیسا کہ عربی کتابیں، اردو، فارسی اور کچھ دیگر مشرقی زبانوں کو دائیں سے بائیں سے لکھا جاتا ہے۔ لیکن ریحان سورتوں کو بائیں سے دائیں پڑھ رہا تھا یعنی دسویں سورۃ پڑھ کے بعد میں نویں، پھر آٹھویں، پھر ساتویں اور بالآخر چھٹی۔

چھٹی سورۃ  الانعام کے بعد میں نے اُسے ایک بار پھر دوسرے سپارے کی طرف منتقل کردیا۔ کیونکہ پہلا پارہ تو اُس نے پڑھا ہوا تھا۔ لہٰذا اس کے چند ماہ کے بعد آج ہمارے ہونہار طالبعلم نے آخری سبق پڑھ لیا جو کہ پانچویں سورۃ المائدہ کی آخری آیات تھی۔ آج کا سبق آیت نمبر 90 سے آیت نمبر 120 تک تھا۔ یہ سورۃ ساتویں پارے کے پہلے ربع کے بعد مکمل ہوتی ہے۔

Rehan has Read The Holy Quran Completely

He read it during 1 year and 11 months.

         Rehan is one of  the students of ‘E Learning Holy Quran’. He is 14 year old. He belongs to ‪‎Perth‬, Western ‪Australia‬. He started his lessons on Sep 02, 2013. Firstly he read Quaidah Book. Quaidah is an initial book, in which he learnt how to read Arabic Text. The Book starts with Arabic Alphabets and tells a student about sounds, movements and rules of Arabic Reading.

         Then Rehan read 30th part (Juzz) of Quran first. After reading that I moved him towards 1st part. He completed 1st para (Part) and I once again moved him to Para no 29. From there he had been reading Para no 28, 27, 26, 25 and 24. We started Para no 23 from beginning of Surah Yasin.

         Later on, after a short time we adopted the order of Suras (Chapters) instead of Parts. But we were going from back end to right. As we know that The Holy Quran, Arabic books, Urdu, Persian and some other eastern languages are written from right to left. But Rehan was reading Quran from left to right with respect to Suras (Chapters). When he studied up-to 6th Chapter al-an’aam, I suggested him to start Quran from 2nd para. Because he already had read 1st para. He moved there then.

So, after a few months he has completed Quran today. It was his last Quranic Arabic text lesson. He told me 5th Chapter’s last Ayaat (verses) from verse no 90 to last Ayat 120 today.

         He was second student of mine who has read complete Quran with me as well as second student of “E Learning Holy Quran” who did so. First student was Mazin, he completed his Quran reading in July 2013. Mazin was an Urdu speaking (Pakistani native) boy & he was 6 and half year old at that time. I’m also from Pakistan. So, Urdu is my national language, But Rehan is a Burmese Native. So he speaks English Language. With respect to English, he is the first guy who has studied Quran completely with us. It’s an honor for me and my institute, E Learning Holy Quran dot com.  I want to congratulate him and his family once again. Al-hamdu-lillah, we did it.
